If for you the holidays do not rhyme with sport, no worries! The Catalan region is made up of several small typical villages that must be visited: Collioure, Argelès-sur-Mer... Perpignan, just 30 minutes away, will be the occasion for a shopping day in the city, ladies!

Collioure

A typical Catalan village where the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean meet. With a view of the vineyards on the terrace, enjoy a stroll on the Royal Castle side or on the port side with its Catalan boats.

Argelès-sur-Mer

Seaside resort, with its 7 kilometers of sandy beach and 2 kilometers of rocky coast. Its port, its 2 nature reserves (Mas Larrieu, Mas sane forest)...

Beaches

A little lazing around? Come and rest on the 40 km of fine sand to refine your tan or climb the rocky coves to find a little corner of paradise. With its long sandy beaches and 20 km of rocky coves, the Mediterranean offers all its potential and diversity of landscapes in the Eastern Pyrenees. With family or friends, discover the fishing and pleasure harbours and enjoy the clear and warm water by basking in the sun or by practicing water sports. Young and old alike will all find a reason to return to this multifaceted Catalan coastline!

Highlights: The long beach and nature reserve of Mas Larrieu in Argelès-sur-Mer, the cove of Paulilles in Port Vendres, the beach of Barcarès, the beaches of Collioure.

 

So many places, so many routes to discover...

For the more daring, many hikes have been marked, some very close to the campsite. These beautiful walks will allow you to relax and stay in shape while discovering the beautiful panoramas that the region of the Pyrenees Orientales offers. More than 3,500 km marked out including 50 walking trails in freedom or accompanied, let yourself be guided!

The Regional Natural Park, unique place of this Catalan region, presents 11 breathtaking nature reserves in which you can learn about scuba diving and discover a new world...underwater.

  • The Canigou, classified site of France
  • Hot springs in Saint-Thomas-les-Bains, Dorres and Llo
  • The marine nature reserve of Cerbère, unique in France to enjoy the joys of scuba diving.

Spain and la Costa Brava

1h from the campsite

Reach Spain and the high places of the Costa Brava: Rosas, Cadaques, Lloret del Mar and Empuriabrava.

Head to the Rambla to smell Spain.
Visit the beautiful Palau Güell
Then, get lost in the Barri Gòtic district, the cathedral and the Boquería market.
Lunch break: Enjoy tapas!
Cross Plaça de Catalunya to reach Passeig de Gràcia and its elegant houses.
Your afternoon can be dedicated to Gaudí: casa Batlló, la Pedrera and la Sagrada Família.
